There is nothing like the church, when the church is working right!

This is just a small example of how important it is for everyone to take part in the work of the ministry.  As we begin a new school year, consider how you can use your strengths for the edification of the body.  One important ministry is our cheergivers.  These are teams who faithfully visit our elderly, sick, and discouraged.  They are such an important ministry within our church, and I can always use a few more teams.  If you are interested in this vital ministry please let me know.

We are also blessed to have many new faces in our congregation.  If you have recently joined Temple Baptist Church, or have been visiting and are considering membership, you want to be a part of our New Members Class that will be held on October 23 from 9-12.  This will give you a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our church’s history, philosophy, and overall strategy.  We will also take you on a tour of the entire facility so that you can become acquainted with all of the ministries associated with the church.  Mark your calendars and make plans now to attend.
