Awana – May 2011

With only six weeks left to go in this AWANA year, there is no time to waste! As the weather warms up in April and May, we will have activities geared toward spring, such as ice cream night, kite night, and get wet night and move up night.  All geared toward learning God’s word.

As we wrap things up on May 22th (closing ceremonies start at 6:oo pm) please continue to pray for our AWANA missionaries, “Advancing Native Missions,” (Brother Dan Reichard) as he and his family serve the Lord throughout the world.

We have a lot of fun in the AWANA Clubs, but the most important thing we do is summed up by our AWANA pledge: “Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him.” This is the focus of our weekly Bible lessons, and as clubbers memorize God’s Word, we also make sure they understand what they memorize. Come join us– be a part of this exciting ministry! We meet on Sunday nights from 5:45 to 7:15 in the gym.
