Walking With the Giants: Joshua – Chapter 8

The last part of Joshua chapter eight records a unique worship service of the chldren of Israel.  The people were divided on two mountains while the Levites carried out their duties in the valley between the mountains.  A pronouncement of cursings and blessings were read while the entire nation of Israel listened closely.

God instructed Joshua to set up memorial stones as a testimony to future generations of His miraculous provision for the children of Israel.  Similarly, we must leave “memorial stones” for our children and grandchildren, so a generation does not arise that does not know the Lord.
