Awana Update 2011-2012

The AWANA Clubs of Temple Baptist Church have begun another year, and what a great start it has been! Our Clubs are for kids ages 3 thru the 8th grade and we meet in the gym every Sunday night from 5:45 until 7:15.

There are 3 parts to our night:

  1. Handbook time – this is when the clubbers memorize

ABC = Anything But Christianity

Buckle up, because this one is going to be a DOOZIE!  Our nation’s government schools claim that education is “neutral” thanks to the “wall of separation” between the church and the state.  However, it seems that this “separation” is between the Christian church and the state.  Read on.

Missions Moments – May/June 2011

David and Caroline Street came “home” to visit with their Temple Baptist Church family on April 6, 2011.  The Streets were a part of the Temple family while David attended Liberty Seminary.  Since graduation, the Streets have served with Village Missions and are members of our Missions family.  They are currently serving in East Marion, New York.
